HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

I've been in London with my parents since the 28th. Waiting for New Year. I'm trying very hard to not fall asleep. We're gonna stay in and hope that we can still see pretty fireworks from here, since my mum hates crowded places. Holidays have been aswome, to my suprise. I still don't like London, but being around with my mum and dad is just too funny/fun and enjoyable.

We're sleeping in a twin room so i've been sleeping on the floor and it's not very comfie :P Back aches.

Ewwwww.. there is a long fat snake right outside our window, slowly climing up the fence.... This is the first time in my life to see a non-zoo snake!!!!!! Ewwwwwww... It's something like.. a meter long. First time we called the fire fighters. Me and my mum were so freaked out. My brother thought it was great fun watching them catching the snake live XD.
i am just hoping that it doesn't have any baby snakes around here >_>.... <_<.....

Have been shopping loads with my sis. Cloths are cheap here in china. When we were in the mall today on those elvator type thing (dunno what it's called. Like the ones in the airport but go from one floor to another), SOMEONE'S TROUSERS JUST DROPPED O_O???!!!!!!!!
XD it was the cloth model in the shop window.. So random -- there wasn't anyone around it. It was so funny when the shop keeper was trying to pull up the model's trousers with one hand but couldn't. XDDD

^_^ there was a free baley testing thing today.. i knicked 2 shots... Didn't manage to knick the milkshake!!! >_< it's banana + chocolate + milk + baley's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOUNDS SOOOO NICE!! Was a little drunky when i was window shopping with my sis XD
Life here in china is horrible... apart from that my sis pays for everything ^_^. The worst thing is ... the toilet. It's better in where i live at the moment, but when i was traveling with my grandma in other cities, almost all toilets don't have door lock (they're big famous cities. In smaller cities, there aren't even a door). Once when we got to a really posh restaurant and the toilet was sooo pretty.. we then find out that the doors are glass door that are half transparent... and still no locks. In Shanghi... the most advanced city.. the toilet seats are either wet or got shoe prints >_< >_< >_<. HORRIBLE!!!!
Okay.. and the trains... We spent 1 pound and got on the worst train ... there were about 1 hundred ppl (or more) queing half an hour before it's schedual. As soon as boarding starts, ppl start climbing over fences and running towards the train. O_O it was crazy/scary. And the train got the strangest smell ever; i can't decide if it's the smell of gone off food or rubbish.. Kinda like a mixture of both + smoke. Coz we don't have seats.. we went to the side and stand near the area between 2 coaches, where the toilet is... there were about 15 ppl standing around in that area and a puddle of unknown liquid on the floor... and someone stepped on the puddle and the unknown liquid splashed on my feet >_< AHHHH... so we gave up and left the train... walk for half an hour to the coach station and spent 3 quids for a coach back.
And it's crazily hot here.. average temperature is about 40 degree C. I will never, never ever ever wanna live here... Kinda fun for a short visit though ^_^ been here for 2 weeks already. Most stuff are cheap.
Ummumm.. yeah.. that's about it...

WAHHH!!!! I finally saw it again!!!!! I saw a popcorn shop in a department store!!! It's soooo pretty! Full of the colours of the rainbow. They've got crazy flavours of popcorn : blueberry, grapes, cherry, bacon, cheese...etc. There are at least 20 different kinds ^_^ Wanted to buy some, but somehow the shop keeper wasn't there. >_

Back at home in Taiwan now. Heeeeat! Going to go to china for a visit with my grandma.. I'm really not looking forward to it. On the bright side, i finally fullfill (?!) the promise i made to by best friend; to be able to do this, i have to work in my parent's shops (sigh). 12 hours a day, every other day. Ah well, this trip might be fun.
A little worried about what i'm doing with my degree... and if i really want to do biology. To be honest, i really have no clue. Didn't choose biology because i like it. I don't hate it, and i can presuade myself to believe that i sometimes enjoy doing it. I guess everyone is probably a little confused about if what they're doing is right in their 3rd year...

^_^ our doggy at home gave birth. Darn it that i wasn't able to see the new born puppies. They're about 10 days old now... sooooo adorable!!! Just opened their eyes and crewling about. It's crazy how each day they look so different from yesterday! The doggy mum had 7 babies, but because my dad thought she finished giving birth after the 4th one and went to bed, 2 of the late comers died of cold >_<. Thank god we're lucky to have a cleaver doggy mum. With the time my dad's gone to look for gloves and freshly prepared clean sissors, she cut off that thing connects baby and mum at the exact right spot. It's quite amazing to think that they could do that without being taught... Maybe that's the mother dogs' night time song for baby puppies so they will grow up knowing how to be a mum. My friend said we're lucky; quite often the mum doens't even feed baby/sleep on the baby by accident (well... their cat)and stuff. They had to use a pipette and open the kitten's mouth to feed them. ^_^

Umm... Mum's got gall stones. It's been fine for 5 years until last few days. I guess gall stones are not really the problem; the problem is that my mum refuses to go to hospitals. She always hated to go to hospitals. She's been taking stomach medicine whenever she had pain, thinking it's stomachache, until today. Thank goodness she went to a friend who is also a chinese medicine doctor. She is taking aquiupuncture (those needle thing) at the moment, like what she did 5 years ago. Dunno... I wanna encourage her to have an operation; i remember the operation is very small and safe. My 75-year-old gardian had the operation and only stayed in the hospital for overnight. If she needs to have an operation, i want to be there. I remember she fainted once a few years back; dunno if it's because of the same thing. I don't like this. Kinda glad i'm at home; not that it's extremely serious nor i could be any use, but i'm glad i'm home. I got the same kind of "property" as my mum in this sense-- i get "stony residue" behind my teeth quite easily. Hehe, let's just hope i don't get stoned!!!

Currently reading manga for Kodomo no Omocha. I love it!!! It's a little like kare Karno. Really cool and funny at the same time.

Umm... had my hair done on my first day back home --- Arrrr.... regret it sooo much!!!!!

There is nothing interesting since i've been home except...

Running octopus!!!

It was on the news that they found two species of octopus that would run on 2 legs at the bottom of the seabed when they're frightened. One of them would run with 2 legs, and hold its head with the rest. He looks rediculously stupid XDDDDD!!!!!!! Can't find a photo of it though. Hopefully it's on the english news too. I wanna chase a running octopus.... <_<

Just finished playing paper mario. It's sooooo funnyyyyyyyy. I love the way how they all have some kind of accent and they even use words like "hobo". Now i'm playing Skys of Arcadia; so weird when you can't turn ur character into a thin piece of paper. Currently really annoyed with how lost i am with where i am suppose to go. What's worse is that i have to fight stupid enemies that randomly bump into me and forgot where i was at the end of the battles. RPG really doesnt suit me- get lost too often <_< Had fun though--- love the cheesy SUPER MOVES. Awsome cool cheesy animations. ^_^ Currently into cheesy anime. Gad Gard robots are awsome!!!! Nice to watch light hearted things that i don't really care about what would happen next. Funny how the most fan-servicy shot was in the opening when it says "Gonzo". Kiddy Grade has insane amount of fan service. Plots gets really cool though!!

There was some pancakes going in MUJS house last night. Bob melt a bowl of mashmallows--- really cool!! He also set brandy + raison on fire and it looked uber cool when the light was turned off (especially funny when xei xei was also trying to flip a pancake in the dark). Lizzy made some really nice thousand isoland and prawn stuffing. I loved my spring onion + prawn thousand isoland pancake. There was also ice cream and sour sweets. Oh, and some beef mince.

Umm.... I changed my unit from parasitology to cells and tissues in human disease because of the wormy lecture slides... BUT!!!!!!!! >_< Wahhhhhh...... this one is even worse with pictures!!!! It's a pathology course. Basically, the lecturer just showed loads of cut up pieces of human body... try to explain which bit is which and why they cut it. GRoooOSE!!!!!!!!!!!! >_< I hate hate hate hate dissection-- why can't they just stick with pretty fluorescent glowing cells???
On the bright side, it's a very interesting lecture, funny lecturer and good timetable. Basically, it's really like CIA or some detective thing. He showed us some background information and explained how they cut up the body and help the understanding of the cause of death/murder. Pretty cool. Ah well, it's gone pass the deadline for changing unit so i gotta stick with this... I will just make sure i don't eat before lecture; i felt well sick after today's lecture.

New year!!!!!

Feb. 7th, 2005 | 12:28 pm

The coming of new year suddenly hits me.. Muwaaaaaa.... I miss new year feast!!!!!!!!
My sister is gonna watch the new film by Gibili (something's moving castle) and have McDonald's as a treat for new year. Bah, I am gonna try to create a chinese hot pot!! Darn it, last time i had proper new year was about 6 years ago, I can't even remember what it's like going around nagging money off everyone. I should probably go and buy some new cloths (it's a tradition to wear new cloth on new years), some fire crackers, and some new year's cakes. It's darn weird not having families around during new year... :-(

And yeah~~ Finally got my MSN inbox upgraded. Helen sorted it out for me ^_^. It's 25Mb at the moment... <3 Yay- bye to my 2Mb inbox.
These baby picture that are soooo cute!!! If i ever have a baby, i will buy one of those.

100% Hinata?? YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hinata rules!

You scored as Hinata. You are generally shy, a bit of a loner, and often misunderstood. You wish you could be more self-assured, independent and stronger. That’s why you’re determined to change yourself. There is a person who gives you the strenght to do that, a person you admire from afar.

Grrr.... I got 0% on a short answer test and missed 2 lectures in a role for Immunology. Today, for once, jon actually said "shall we just stay in and miss the lecture" and i actually said no. THEN, THE STUPID LECTURER DIDN'T EVEN TURN UP!!!!!!!! Damn it damn it damn it... could have been in bed. >_<

Yeah, my dear subway manager has got fined (or put down salary) because 2 of his lovely crew were wearing the wrong trousers. Serves him right for sneaking off work early so often. He said 'I have got 4 kids, 2 boys and a girl, and this subway. And i spend the most time with this baby (subway), because it's still a baby. It needs a lot of care'. Gosh.. i pity his kids; he is even gonna come back to the shop to check the temperature of the fridge on chrismas day....

Bought some nice juice called 'innocent' or something like that. It's kida the second day that is off... Don't wanna waste it, yet can't see us finishing it anytime soon either. So if anyone in the MUJS house wanna risk their life and try some, help urself with it. It's in the back fridge. (it's very very thick juice... smoothie?! Had some this morning, not dead yet).

Damn it.. I'm pretty sure there were some mildly interesting thing happening in the past few days.. But I can't remember any of it.

Walking from uni to MUJS house is a fun.
Yesterday Jon and me just saw some girl collapsing right in front of our eyes. We weren't sure if she was faking for too drunk, because it just seem to surreal. Was pretty tempted to go and kick her to see if she wakes up, but that's probably not a good idea. Thankfully she eventually stood up after lying there for half a minute or so, told us she was just too drunk and drifted away. ^_^

The other time, after leaving fraser's house, I checked my phone and there was no message or anything, so I started singing "nobody likes me, everybody hates me!" The girl in front of us suddenly turned around and look at me with a very weird/terrified look. Ah!!!!! So embrassing... So we just speed up and went pass her. Heheee... She must have thought I'm some kind of psycopath (?!) let free from the hospital.
